Today on our 2017 Chevrolet Equinox, we'll be installing the Curt Adapter Four Pole to Seven Pole, and Four Pole with Test Lamps. Part number C57674. You can see our vehicle is already equipped with a four pole flat adapter for our wiring. Our customer today needs a seven pole in order to have the lighting functions he needs on his trailer. You simply will plug this in right here, to the existing four pole wiring. You have your wires here for your brake controller, your ground wench we'll need to add, yellow wire is for your reverse, and your black is for constant power. Trailer Wiring Harness Adapter Installation - 2012 Chevrolet Equinox- Video
Today on this 2012 Chevrolet Equinox, we're going to install part number 37185. This is a Hopkins adapter 4 pole to 7 pole and 4 pole. First thing we need to do is go ahead and get our vehicle ready. To do that, we need to loosen up the 4 pole that's pre-existing on our car. Our Hopkins product will plug into this and adapt up to the 7 and provide another 4 pole.
